Yes Tara and Raven don't exist, and their parts are as much fiction as the fanfic itself, but this is like exactly what me and my friends were writing back then. I had this crazy plan of writing an amazing story that millions would read and use the author's notes as *the real story* and only smart people would catch up on that and I'd be a genius and win awards and have a movie made about how smart I was... Its been a few years since I watched this anime. The masks got me through the Endless 8. I liked seeing which masks she got.

I became curious about .hack after hearing snippets of the soundtrack in Project X Zone back in 2013, and over the past decade+ I've slowly built up the collection intending to play them when I'd collected them all at "some point in the future™". It was only last month that I randomly stumbled upon a copy of Quarantine for cheap* (*relatively speaking) and decided to make good that that vague intention from all those years ago. I started about two weeks ago, just finished Mutation and I'm absolutely hooked. After the SIGN references in Mutation left me confused I decided to take a mid-tetralogy break to watch that and I'm really enjoying it as well (especially that Yuki Kajirua soundtrack). Luckily the GU games are still pretty affordable so I just grabbed all those at once on eBay, it was only after they'd all shipped that I learned Last Recode exists (thanks to this video lol). So I'll have to grab that at some point as well.

Thank god 4 Kidz didnt continue. I am happy Funi took over with a lot of Dbz voice actors. That's another thing that got me hooked. It has to do with the dub too. I think. Funi msde it for mature audiences and teens too so thats a win for me.
